Is There A Connection Between Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity and Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection?
The suggestion that Einstein and Darwin connect seems laughable. Einstein’s theories are about space, matter, energy, and motion while Darwin’s theory is about organisms, so there is no way that the two could be related or is there?
To find the connection, you first must think of space as more than a representation of the distance between things because broadly speaking, space is just a measure of difference. To find the other connection, you must think of energy as being allocated within space in a manner that leads to the emergence of organisms and everything else including galaxies and stars.
Finally, you must think of relativity as being the mother of everything i.e consider the fact that everything is separated from everything else by some state of motion, time, energy levels, etc, and that this is what makes existence possible.
This sounds like too much of a stretch right? Not really.
In my book, the Winds of Laikipia, I explain how it is possible to unify the theories of Einstein and Darwin not just because of the highly doubtful reasons above, but also because the two theories describe events.
What does that mean?
Think about it. Darwin’s theory describes the billion-year-long year-long event called evolution while Einstein’s theories also describe billions of year-long events including the evolution of the universe. Now, don’t you think that a general theory of evolution would be able to explain both events?
What is this general theory of evolution and why haven't heard of it before?
I recommend that you read the Winds of Laikipia and get insight into a new and amazing way of seeing the universe.
